Holiness = Separation

Yesterday I was lying in my sister's room, trying to remember a text of the Word of God that had been on my mind in the morning.
I opened the Bible forcing my mind to remember the text. A few minutes later, the Holy Spirit (of course he was), reminded me of the text was Romans 12:2:

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

I mistakenly thought that the text spoke "transformed the" not me I heed that the right is "be ye transformed." I thought that we were going to change the world when we do not conform with it! I was wrong! It is we who are transformed in a process that will last till the end of our lives.

In short: is the process of Sanctification!

"For this is the will of God, namely, your sanctification ..." 1 Thessalonians 4.3

Similarly, I've heard many people incorrectly preaching and talking like me (like me until yesterday), this word of the text. But by the mercy and grace of God, the Holy Spirit teaches us all things!

Whatever the Spirit want to say here is that:

1) We must not be conformed to this world;
2) To be transformed by the renewing of our minds;
3) Separating the world by God Holiness.

We, as a Church, we have no ability in ourselves to change the world around us and it is not what the text means. Only Jesus Christ can save and transform people. He uses the Church, people, yes, but who becomes, who does the work, who is the Holy Spirit works! I am not saying here that God uses the Church as a tool to reach the lost, is not it, the focus here is that only Jesus can transform people!

Going beyond. This text refers to the Church, which must conform to the way of living the world has and be transformed by the renewing spiritual (remembering that the renewal process of understanding / knowledge is only through the Holy Spirit). And speaking of the world as diabolical system contrary to the teachings of God. It can only be transformed who is in fact converted to Jesus Christ.

* Note: Read the entire text of Romans 12 speaks of consecration to God, humility and faithfulness in the use of gifts. There are also a number of references, that among them are: 1 Pero 1:14 / 1 John 2:25 / Ephesians 4:23 / Ephesians 5:17 / Colossians 3:10 / 1 Thessalonians 4.3, among others ...

1 ° Do not be conformed to this world ...

Let's see some references to this text.
In 1 Peter 1:14 says: Exhortation to Holiness.

"As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance."

God is holy and we must be like Him. Can not live according to the sinful ways of the world. Not that we have not sinned, but we should not sin willfully. Living in the "church" and the world is inconceivable by the Word of God. Want to win the world and be within the Church is impossible! We must not confuse be attending a religious temple to join the Church of God are different things, though, I am not saying that anyone who belongs to a religious denomination is not of God, is not it! I'm just reiterating the difference.

We despise and abhor all that is evil. Jesus said in John 17:16 He is not the world and also we are not. Live according to the world, shows that the person is here! Every one that is of the world hates those who are not. If you are not of this world, as I am not, you can be sure that many will hate, it's fact.

"For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith." 1 John 5:4

2 ° But be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind ...

"And be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness." Ephesians 4:23-24

The text of Ephesians 4, between verses 17 to the 32, shows us that Christian holiness is opposed to the customs of the heathen. As discussed above in summary, it is not possible that the church has the same customs sinful world. Put on the new man, speaks of baptism, symbolizing that our old man was killed and live in the New Covenant by the blood of Christ.

"And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." Colossians 3:10-11

Our "old man" was back with his deeds. An exhortation to holiness is made again in Colossians 3.

Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2.6-16 regarding the profound wisdom of God unto his brethren, that they received and relayed to others. The wisdom of God needs to be renewed in us daily.

Understanding is knowledge. And knowledge is the Holy Spirit.

3 ° To prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

The will of God is always good and in this context, the desire of the Lord is our sanctification, a process of transformation and salvation daily.

"For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication." 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4

The Lord tells us not to be foolish below. The Lord's will is our sanctification:

"Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord."
Ephesians 5:17

Look below this text, magnificent promise that God gave. But only achieve through sanctification.

"And this is what he promised us, even eternal life." 1 John 2:25-26

Summary

Do not forget that before the process of sanctification, is the plan of salvation for man. Here things fit:

Believing the man in Jesus Christ as the only Savior, repenting and turning from sin, being baptized as a public testimony of faith, the Lord will performing the process of sanctification in person. The Holy Spirit will teach and the church is being used in various ways to the building of God (composed of living stones, people), will be completed.

For God so loves this world (people) that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him (one must believe) not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).

The transformation process by the renewing of our minds (sanctification) is definitely something that we should seek every day. We must present our bodies to God as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing, this is the "spiritual worship"!

The word sanctification is hardly preached today. Instead, many are teaching that the believer can live up to the world, where everything is "normal", everything is permitted, everything is licit, where what is wrong, say it is good, and what is good, that speak is evil! But it is not the Word of God! Sanctification is a serious thing, and is only for those who want to!

Undoubtedly, this is just a sketch, because the Word is an inexhaustible and deep. May the Holy Spirit continue to open our understanding and will transform us daily!

Glory to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen!

Are you a friend of God or the Devil?

"Friend of the Devil" - An important witness!

Let me share with you what happened to me yesterday. I was working and picked up a call from a customer who was in need of help. This man is a renowned medical Campos / RJ, Brazil. After long minutes and already solved his problem, he said this sentence in a tone of relief:

- "The devil helped me"!

I said what sir? He replied the devil helped me!

You know those times when you and I get something etc and we exclaims "thank God"?! So it was more or less as he spoke, and between the lines he meant: "thanks to the devil that has helped me in what I needed!"

I, through no reaction, not expecting to hear that and he kept saying that the "devil" and such is his friend and that the devil is not so as they say (as if the devil was good thing), so he told me, "you can only be Protestant "!

I said Protestant? I am a disciple of Jesus. Indeed, Protestantism came from the Catholic Church. Besides that, the devil hates the human race! I spoke twice confirming that what I said is the truth!

A coworker who is not converted, was very amazed with what this doctor said. Soon after I was thinking about and analyzing happened ... Where mankind will stop? It's all wide open! Jesus is coming! But all that is written in the Bible that has amazed us is not it. May the Lord have mercy on this man.

"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." James 4:44

Being evil in the world, if you are a friend of the devil then is the enemy of God! This is very serious! Folks, the best thing in the world is to be a friend of God.

"I will not call you servants, for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known." John 15:15

The time is coming where we will see great and terrible things in the world, however, the worse things will happen after the rapture of the church. We must be strong in the Lord, in our hearts a sincere repentance of sins lest we be partakers of the terrible things to come on this planet and worse, spend eternity in hell!

Are you a friend of God or the Devil?

Grace and Peace!

The "Destroyer" come!

Today I saw the "Destroyer" in sight!

Shiva-Nataraja

Principality, known by various names around the world and at various times. Adored and revered by many people as "god." The name Shiva means "Destroyer" and is the same as the Bible speaks in several texts, both the old and New Testaments. Stay tuned, because the devil knows he has little time and terrible things will happen on Earth in the coming days! Read the book of Daniel, Revelation and the Gospels of Matthew 24, Luke 13 and Mark 13.

The devil comes only to steal and kill and destroy, as it is written.

"For the Son of man came not to destroy men's lives but to save them. And they went to another village." Luke 9. 56

It's time to return to the Lord Jesus!

Church!

The church that Jesus began building ever erected a stone temple, was once a pilgrim from house to house, from town to town thus fulfilling the commandment of the LORD:

"But you shall receive power of the Holy Spirit to come upon you: and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and unto the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

The church that the Emperor Constantine built this thug was but a stone temple. Thus arose the bloody Roman Catholicism which trucidou million in the inquiry logically following the paths of his father Constantine who did not spare even his own wife and son murdering them.
Catholicism came the Protestants who somehow also followed the paths of their fathers, building stone temples, worshiping Sunday as the Lord (established by Constantine in worship the sun god), and how these are roots of an empire imposed on the his subjects such as taxes, tithes and indulgences, of course to maintain the operation of the machine empire, its temples and his kingship (priests, pastors, bishops, apostles ...)

Does blindness is such that we can not reason; where was the church when the call was the Protestant Reformation? If you were born Catholic reform coming from the mean that it ceased to exist for a while to get back into existence from this illusory reform. Not so, this story is a lie! The church has always existed in every house, from town to town being witness to Jesus.
This religious system that exists today is a thug named Constantine and his father has nothing to do with the church of Christ!

"And I heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and not of her plagues." Revelation 18:4

"Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice and opens the door, come in to him and will sup with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20

Jesus slams the door of the Laodicean church, because the letter is addressed to her, hoping someone will hear and open the door, and if someone opens Jesus invites him to supper at his house and not in the temple.

"Whoever has ears, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." Revelation 3:22

The Canaanite Woman

At that time, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. Behold, a Canaanite woman from that region, began to cry, Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me: my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil! But Jesus answered him not a word. So his disciples came and asked him: Send away this woman, for she crieth after us.Jesus answered, I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel. But the woman came and fell down before Jesus, and began to plead, Lord, help me! Jesus said to him: It is not fair to take the children's bread to throw them to the dogs. The woman insisted: Yes, Lord, but also the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters table! Then Jesus said unto him, O woman, great is thy faith! Be it as thou wilt! And from that moment her daughter was healed.
This narrative of God's Word is like the Gospel of Luke 16:19-31 Lazarus and the rich entitled when he says "the crumbs that fall from the table," because in both cases the crumbs are not physical but spiritual, because it is the living bread come down from heaven, Jesus. The Jews had bread in abundance, the law and the prophets and thought it was theirs alone and do not share what it really was a big mistake because from the beginning of salvation was open to all, and it is clear from many examples in life Caleb and Joshua who together were those who believed in the promise of God regardless of circumstances. See Caleb was not Jewish, but the tribe of the Canaanites quenezeus (Js14: 6). And this was one of the twelve spies, he represented the tribe of Judah from which our Lord descended. There is plenty of bread on the table (the church) that makes the difference, but the key is the desire to eat this bread and share, so with Caleb, Lazarus, the Canaanite woman and many others and have to be like us.Otherwise it is useless abundance on the table, except to court, because "there are those who much is given much will be charged LC12: 48." Open your eyes while you can, example? The rich man in Luke 16.

CRY GOD FOR MINISTERS!

The name Joel means "Jehovah is God."

It is likely that Joel has lived and prophesiedin Jerusalem. It would, therefore, in his youth, known Elijah and Elisha. Probable date: 830 years before Christ, at the time of King Joash.

Joel has been called "the prophet of the revival." He understood that sincere repentanceis the basis of true spirituality and was forthis to happen to his people that he was struggling.

The basic content of his book is the call to repentance. Studying with interestits great lessons are edified.

I - WHEN WE PREACHED JOEL When the prophet Joel preached their messages, the economic situation was desperate because of an attack of locusts unique. He leaves this fact to alert people to the practice of sanctification, the brokenness, and greater submission to the Lord, 1: 14, messages that make the book very timely. Joel also announces the Lord's day and prevents under the imminence of a military attack would come by a foreign nation and ends the book with the most precious message about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

a) The plague of locusts - Among the more than 80 varieties of locusts, Joel says four: the cutter, the migrator, the devourer and destroyer, v. 4, had ravaged the land of Israel. The people fell silent as a sign of grief. All dried up and the field produced nothing.

b) The lessons of devastation - The news of this calamity should be passed from generation to generation, see 3, because it refers to a time trial of the Lord in the pleasures of life were removed and there was a general lament. Even the drunks regretted because the locusts devoured the vines, v. 5, and had no more wine, they destroyed a fig tree, stealing away the peels, see 7. Because of this misery to young people wept, v. 8. Whole grain is lost and the tenants were embarrassed and bewildered, vv. 10, 11, because the court came across a small enemy, but in large numbers and wise, Proverbs 30: 27.

c) Reactions to debauchery, 1: 10-14 - With the destruction of pastures and crops, even the priests complained because there was no evidence for sacrifices to the Lord, v. 9. As a general calamity, sin also had devastated all areas of life. This is where the Lord says: "Wail, priests."When the church experiences scourge of such nature engulfed in troubles, sins and diseases that devastate families after families, 1 Corinthians 11: 30-32, biblical teaching to solve this situation is that ministers and people return to the Lord with the same sincerity, intensity , repentance and interests described in Joel 1: 13-14 and 2: 12-17e Deuteronomy 4: 30-31.

II - THE DAY OF THE LORD. The prophet describes this terrible scene to prepare people about what they would talk about the "Day of the Lord," v. 15, which also come as a destruction. It is noticed that Joel sees something behind this plague of locusts, he sees beyond, sees a day of desolation throughout the land. The event by which the people wept when it was foreshadowing of another day in court: a trial to be shed in the final days of this world.

a) An army prepared against Judah, 2: 1-11. Joel announced that he was about to happen a major military invasion. Compare that to a devastation by locusts that had plagued the land.He asks: "You've heard throughout his life, throughout the history of his people, something like?" The answer to v. 2 would only be an emphatic no!

b) Judgement Day - Joel uses almost his entire book to talk about the Lord's Day, 2: 1, 11, 31, 3: 14; this will be the final adjudication of God over all evil and also the end of this era. This day will begin with the Rapture of the Church, 1 Thessalonians 4: 15-17, 5: 2; includes seven years of tribulation, which is the last week of Daniel 9: 24-27, and will culminate with the return of Christ with his Church to reign on earth, Revelation 20: 1-6.

c) A call to repentance, 2: 12-17. The disaster that affects Israel in times of Joel leads the nation, politically, to chaos. But this divine intervention is merely illustrative. As the worst is yet to come, God raises Joel disquiet the priests and to urge the people to repentance, v. 13, and that this return humbly to the Lord, not with empty hands, but with the sacrifice of genuine sorrow and mourning, fasting and prayers by the mercies of God, v. 12. To do so, they should proclaim a solemn assembly, 2: 15-17. No one should miss, nothing excuses, and vv.15 16. And the priests would pray with everyone crying, "Spare thy people, O Lord," v. 17.

d) Outpouring of the Holy Spirit, 2: 28-32. In a future time, marked by the adverb 'then', v. 28, the Holy Spirit would be poured out upon all flesh. Examining The 3: 5, we see that this promise covers the last days Israel, starting with the tribulation and into the reign of the Messiah, which comes next.Compare, Isaiah 2: 2 with Acts 2: 17.

Time is emphatic in v. 29. God wishes to repeat that this will happen "in those days." That is, after repentance and future restoration of national Israel, Zech 11: 10: 13: 1, events will be simultaneous with the Second Coming of Christ. This "great and terrible Day of the Lord" will be presented with wonders of God on earth and in heaven, vv. 30-31.

But Zion and Jerusalem will remain, v. 32, and will happen after that ... the Holy Spirit will be poured out faithful remnant. Note that there is no restriction on the receipt of this gift: no differences in age (young and old) or sex (sons and daughters), and even social status (male and female slaves). What happened in Acts 2 was the fulfillment of this prophecy, but full compliance is yet to come: Is 32: 15, 44: 3.4; Ez 36: 27.29, 37: 14: 39: 29. Thus, the study of the prophet Joel reminds us that the Church must live in a permanent climate of revival in order to do the will of the Lord.

Not endure sound Doctrine.

Text based: 2 Timothy 4.1-5.
Exhortation of the apostle Paul to Timothy his son in the faith and all of us children of God.
"I charge thee therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom, preach the word, plead the time, out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. Because time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts, And they shall turn away their ears from the truth and turn aside to myths. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. "2 Tim 4.1-5
In the course of church history there have always been those who love sound doctrine. As the end approaches, the situation will get worse in this sense.
"But know this: that in the last days perilous times." 2 Tim 3.1 (read the whole chapter 3).
"Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will abandon the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils." 1 Timothy 4.1
Let's examine some parts of this text, especially verses 3 and 4.
1) "not endure sound doctrine":
Many profess to be Christians, attending "churches" (denominations) and show that they serve God, but will not accept the original apostolic faith of the NT, nor examples of the heroes of the faith of the TAA, nor the Bible demands that the believer ordering separate themselves injustice.
"I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then the Greek." Romans 1:16
2) "turn away their ears from the truth":
The authentic biblical preaching of a man or woman of God will no longer be accepted in many churches And actually this is already happening. The offset from the true desire to make a gospel sermons that less demanding.
"Who have strayed from the truth, saying that the resurrection is past already, and overthrow the faith of some." 2 Timothy 2:18
"Ever learning, and can never get to know the truth. And as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. "2 Timothy 3:7-8
"Contentions of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, supposing that godliness is a cause of gain, from such turn away." 1 Timothy 6.5
"Not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who deviate from the truth." Titus 1:14
Will no longer accept portions of the Word of God dealing with repentance, sin, destruction, the need for holiness and separation from the world.
"And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which can make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus." All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. "2 Timothy 3.15-17
"The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule by their, and my people so wish, but you will do after this?" Jer 5:31
"And behold, thou art unto them as a song of love, who has a pleasant voice, and that respect as well, because they hear your words but do not do them." Ez 33.32
3) "heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts":
These false believers and leaders do not want pastors (those who have the ministerial gift) by the standards of the Word of God.
"Hold the pattern of sound words which you heard from me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. Guard the good deposit through the Holy Spirit who dwells within us. "2 Timothy 1.13,14
"This is a faithful saying: If anyone desires the episcopate, fine work he desires. It is therefore appropriate that the bishop must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, honest, hospitable, able to teach, not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre, but gentle, not contentious, not covetous; that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity. (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, take care of the church of God?) Not a novice, so that became proud, do not fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover he must have good testimony from those outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. Likewise must the deacons be grave, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; Holding the mystery of faith in a pure conscience. And let these also first be proved, then let them, if they are blameless. "1 Timothy 3.1-10
But those who seek to tolerate his selfish desires and worldly. Choose preachers with gifts of oratory skills to entertain the people with a message and assure you that you can be faithful and continue to live after the flesh.
"That the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh: but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So those who are in the flesh can not please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. But if someone does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. And if Christ is in you, the body indeed is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of Him who rose from the dead dwells in you Jesus, who rose from the dead in Christ shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. So then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh will die, but if by the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. "Romans 8.4-13
"And there was also false prophets among the people, as among you also there will be false teachers, who will secretly damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious, which will be maligned by the way of truth. And through covetousness they will exploit you with false words; over which they have a long time the sentence will not be late, and their damnation slumbers not. For if God spared not the angels who sinned, but cast them into hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for the court; And spared not the old world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, seven others, bringing the flood upon the world of the ungodly, and condemned the destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, reducing them to ashes, and setting an example to those who live ungodly; And delivered just Lot, weary of dissolute life of the wicked (for that righteous man dwelling among them, tormented every day just soul, seeing and hearing their lawless deeds) So, you know the Lord deliver the godly from temptation and to reserve the unjust Day of Judgement to be punished: But chiefly those who walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government headstrong, stubborn, not afraid to speak evil of dignities While the angels, though greater in might and power, did not speak out against they blasphemous trial before the Lord. But these, like unreasoning animals, who follow nature, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of you do not understand, perish in their corruption, receiving the reward of unrighteousness, as they that take pleasure in the everyday pleasures; Spots they are and blemishes, reveling in their deceit while they feast with you, having eyes full of adultery, and not cease from sin, beguiling unstable souls, having a heart trained in greed, cursed children: who, forsaking the right way , wandered along the path of Balaam son of Beor who loved the wages of unrighteousness, but he was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet. These are wells without water, clouds driven by wind force, for which the blackness of darkness is reserved for ever. For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, and lasciviousness, those who were away from those who walk in error, promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of corruption. For someone who is overcome, the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein and overcome, it became the last state to them worse than the first. For better for them not knowing the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them, Thus came for them what a true proverb, The dog turning to his own vomit , and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mud. "2 Peter 2
The Holy Spirit warns all who remain faithful to God and submit to His Word, that await persecution and suffering for the sake of justice. Furthermore, they must separate themselves from people, churches and religious institutions that deny the power of God unto salvation, and who preach a gospel modified (Galatians 1:9; 1 Timothy 4.1,2; 2 P 2.1; Jude 3; Rev. 2.24)
